Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN at the end of 2016. The child of journalists on TV Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been bilingual since her age of nine. The ability to speak two languages helped her to get her first work at Univision, Miami. She had the opportunity to collaborate with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. After this she was hired by the CBS channel located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for Fox2 News, the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Reporting on stories about immigration and trafficking in drugs on both sides of the border with Mexico. She worked as a reporter on the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of news at 9 p.m. newscast, which was in English in addition to reporting for the 10:30 p.m. Spanish newscast. Antonietta Collins was a native of Veracruz, Mexico. The family moved towards Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November in 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 relocated from Mexico and relocated to Miami. In 1992, her parents split soon after. In 1995, she married Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in the year 2006 of kidney cancer. At the end of June 2006, she visited the week she spent with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet having an idea of what she wanted to do for her life, Antonietta was able to visit the University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her needs. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered the degree she wanted. After completing her high school studies, she entered the university to study media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor of WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a participant. Mark's passion for journalism and her self-confidence inspired her. In turn, she strived to exceed his standards and not let him down.
